Suggest Medication For Swelling And Redness Around The Eye Area

I was holding my 6 month old son whilst walkng down the stairs and i fell back slid on my back and bum however my son did not fall out of my hands or hit the side of the wall etc. He cried for about 10mins and then after was his normal self. The time was about 3-4 hours ago. Now I have noticed his upper outer eye area under his eyebrow is red. It is not swollen, what should i do?

Hello,

Sorry to know about the mishap. It is better to observe the red area for another few days. It could be an early bruise ( not from direct injury but indirect injury, impact from your body). It is likely to change colour and appear purplish and then green before it disappears. Consult a pediatrician if there is pain or tenderness.
You can give cool compresses.

Regards
