Suggest Medication For Swelling Of Esophageal Sphinter
My esophageal sphincter is inflamed. It happened many years ago, and with doctor s advice, I healed. Well, it s happened again and with the same treatment as before, it is not helping. I ve cleaned up my diet, made sure to eat six small meals a day, but I still feel it in the back of my throat and chest. I ve been eating antacids left and right. Is there something more I can do, or should I see the doctor?
Hello Thank for asking to HCM I appreciate your concern, I could guess from the history given here that it must the GERD ( Gastroesophageal reflux disease) incidence of this disease is creasing day by day all over the globe and changing life style could be the reason, here you have not mentioned what medicine you had taken, however PPI is the gold treatment for this and best agent is 'Omeprazole' and it has to be taken 40 mg once in day at evening time at least five weeks course needs to be completed some time it can be added with Tab Domperidone 20 mg, the most important is to rule out the possibility of Helicobacter pylori infection if is positive then it needs to be treated accordingly I would advise to discuss this with your doctor, hope this information helps. (If the previous medicine was not the PPI (Omeprazole) and not being taken for five weeks then condition will return for sure, along with the treatment it is important to be stress free )
