I had a novasure endometrial ablation procedure done on 9/5/14 I was put on general anesthesia I wasn t put on a vantilator they used LMA I have been in so much pain since then today is 9/10/14 and the pain isn t getting better I have been to many Drs and none of them have ever seen a case like mine after general anesthesia my uvula has a tissue on the tip its really long it hits the back of my throat. It was swollen for a couple of days not anymore and it dosent hurt. my throat is reallly red and tender half of my face is swollen all the way down my neck I have so much pain on my hard palet the pain is excruciating as the days go by its only getting worst I can hardly talk due that It causes so much pain on my palet it runs to my right ear to the top of my head all i was eating was broths but I can t eat anything more swolling any tipe of fluids even my saliva is painful I have been seen by my OBGYN,2different ANESTHESIOLOGIST, Internal dr and ENT specialist andno one has answers they all have said they ve never seen a case like mine the ENT said it wasn t uvulatis I have been checked for strep throat it came back negative I have been in antibiotics for the past 6 days so they have ruled out bacterial infection no one seems to know why my palet hurts so much all they prescribed was cephacol and a rinse to num my mouth they don t know how to treated because they don t know what i have please help.

With such presentation, I would like to investigate allergic pharyngitis , angioneurotic edema (laryngoscopy, blood tests). you require steroids any anti allergic medications like montelukast for a prolonged period. kindly discuss with ent surgeon for prescription and dosage.
