HI, I was infected with viral conjunctivitis. Its been 2 weeks. Redness has gone but vision is not clear. When consulted the Doctor, he said there are some spots on cornea so he gave the DEXOREN-S steroid. Should i use it or not. Quick reply will be good.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having viral conjunctivitis. Since it has resulted in white spots on the cornea, it has caused keratoconjunctivitis. The treatment by Dexoren -S which consists of antibiotic, chloramphenicol and steroid, dexamethsaone is correct and continue it as per your doctors advice. But you need to attend regular followup as advised by your doctor to find out complications which can occur with steroid treatment.
Thank you
