Suggest Medication To Control Continuous Flow Of Periods

Wife have a friend who s 10 year old daughter started her menstrual cycle in September and it hasn t stopped. Two doctors told her it s normal, 1st gave her pills and stopped for a week and it came back. 2nd doctor tried to give her birth control but mother didn t except. They live in Trinidad

Hello,from the history you have given, well a detail history and examination is required to know the cause of heavy bleeding.I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist, wherein she may be prescribed antifibrinolytics like tranaxemic acid initially to stop the bleeding.Depending on the csuse of heavy bleeding, if required she may have to start on hormonal pills.hope I was helpful to you.
