Suggest Medication To Cure Hemorrhoids

Hey, My partner has had haemorrhoids for the last 3 weeks and has tried Anasol cream to try clearing it up but a week ago went back to the chemist as it hasn't cleared up and was given a Anasol HC which is stronger. So far the pain has increased over the last 3 weeks and there has been no improvement with the cream. Early today she phoned the doctors to make an appointment as it was getting unbearable and was told to stop using the cream but can't get an appointment until Monday. Do you have any other ideas to help with this?

Hello,

Simply applying hydrocortisone cream is of no use. Eat high fiber diet, and avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Do regular exercise and drink plenty of water.

If symptoms do not improve, use syrup lactulose thirty ml after dinner for five days. Use Kiofiber or benefiber for bulk formation.

If symptoms do not improve, please consult your surgeon, he/she will examine locally and treat you accordingly.
