Dear Sir/ Madam
The best medications to control blood choleaterol level are STATIN. However, before STATINs are started, we must evaluate the overall cardiovascular risk. We must also evaluate liver function. These are important consideration before starting STATIN treatment. Niacin is not a preferred drug to lower LDL cholesterol.
Till you discussed your physician regarding a possible prescription of STATIN, you should start daily morning walk. You should avoid fried items and sweets. Try to optimize your weight.
Feel free to discussed further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
