Suggest Medication To Prepone My Periods
Dear Doctor,
I am having a planned Puja at my Home which will last for 12 days in October, from 22nd oct - 4th Nov 2012. although I am due for my periods on 25 Oct 2012. I want to prepone my period so that I can be free from it. Pls advise any medicine for the same.

Hello,
You can prepone your period for several days. For that, you have to take Norethisterone pill (5 mg) twice daily 3 days prior to period due date and continue as long as you want (max 2 weeks).
You will get withdrawal bleeding like period within 5 to 7 days of stopping the pill. Next period may be delayed due to hormonal imbalance.
