Suggest Medications For Curing Blisters In Pubic Are And Penis

Hello. A couple days ago, I discovered a plump red blister on my pubic area, above the penis. I believe it's a blood blister. I'm too afraid to pop it, because I know little about these. I tried putting some ice on it and a loose Band-Aid with Neosporin. Is there anything else I should do to get rid of this?
