Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son is suffering from jondis since last two month. It started with 4.6 after that lt went to 8.4 than we have given udiliv150.it comes down 5.7.Unfortunate we have missed udiliv for some days it goes up 6.5.again we have started udiliv now it comes down 2.7 what we will do now
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about your son and understood your concerns. Changing parameters of bilirubin and giving Udiliv means you are treating the patient at home as you have not mentioned any consultation with Doctor or have not posted any investigations. Anyways, I would advise you son the following in such a situation: First of all take him to your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and ask for detailed investigations and a reference to the Gastroenterologist. Tests of blood for CBC, liver, kidney and other function; for Type of hepatitis like A or B or C. Ultrasonography of abdomen. Proper clinical evaluation and management should be done, diet as per the advise of Dietitian. Bed rest helps for early recovery.
