Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Eptoin is not used to treat neurocysticercosis in itself, it's prescribed to prevent one of the most common symptoms which are seizures. If it's causing too many side effects there are other antiepileptics which may be tried. The choice depends on several factors such as seizure type, EEG report, other medications etc, so should be discussed with your doctors. Levetiracetam would be one medication they might consider.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
