Suggest Medications For Nuasea

I am facing sever Nausea and sometimes followed by vomitings after having my Food.sometimes Regurgitation i feel salty rather than acidic and irritating. have used Rabeprazole 20mg twice a day for 10 days. But now again i feel nausea during travel and a day after travel

I have read the query and the nausea and vomiting after the vomiting after the food was due to the acid reflux for which you are taking appropriate medication in form of Rabeprazole..Effect of rabeprazole in reducing acid secretion is more when you take it empty stomach.

Nausea due to travel and even after that is due to the motion sickness due to stimulation of vomiting center due to disturbances in vestibular apparatus in ear due to movement of head in motion.I suggest my patients anti histaminic tab.avomine or an anti emetic tab.emset to decrease the nausea.

Further, feeling of nausea and vomiting during travel can be reduced by:

1.Having tab.avomine 1 hr before journey.

2.Avoid eating spicy,oily foodstuffs and caffeine containing products.These products increase the acid levels in stomach and can increase nausea and vomiting.

3.Try to sleep or at least keep your eyes closed with a proper head rest to avoid stimulation of vomiting center.
