General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you to keep the injured area clean. Apply ice pack. Use petroleum jelly for moisture. Cover the skin with a bandage. Change the bandage daily. Get stitches if needed. Use sunscreen on the wound area. If it has signs of infection consult with doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
