Suggest Medications To Avoid After Nissen Funduplication Surgery
A year ago I had nissen funduplication (sp) sugery to repair a hiatal hernia caused by the osteporosis medicine Actonel . I recently started Repriniole for sleep disorder PLMD and had terrible stomach pains when dosing up on 5th day.....I immediately quit the medicine but need to know what types of medicines, or natual supplements, should I be avoiding that would iritate the stomach so that I may avoid this extreme pain. The label said stomach aches/nausea...but this was so much worse. (It took almost 36 hours before pain quit and I could eat again...almost went to the ER........) Thanks!

In my opinion you can take capsule omeprazole 40 mg (early morning empty stomach) to prevent the side effect of the other medicines that you are taking.
