Suggest Medicine For High Fever And Diarrhea In My Baby

hi.I a mother of a two n a half year old.My daughter fell badly ill five days ago . at first she contracted high fever and later followed by diarrhea with green stools with mucous.I. had already given her a five days course. ofOfloxacin and ornidazole. she's still passing sticky stools 6-7times a day no has gone down. badly.no child specialist nearby, please help

Hi.... Many thanks for consulting in Health Care Magic.  It seems your kid is having acute watery  diarrhea. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS... Hope my answer was helpful for you. Happy to help anytime.
