Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
Personally, I would go more in favour of a tension
headaches. The symptoms are typical. The headache, the
nausea, the feeling of congestion/blockage. The
head massage also helps.
I would suppose that something is keeping you anxious and tense. Therefore this tension headache may occur.
I would frankly suggest a lot of
meditation and other
relaxation techniques. They are the main stay of your therapy.
Medications can be suggested, eg amitryptiline can help.
If you have doubts, an
MRI of the brain may help- it would be normal if its a tension headache (or any other primary headache for that matter)
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
