Suggest Methods For Pregnancy With High TSH Levels
Hello doc. I got married 8 mönths ago, n we r trying fr a baby frm last 4 months. Frm last 3 months my wife monthly period is not normal, only 1 day bleeding. When checked we got to know tat her TSH is slightly high. We r serious abt geting a baby. Pls let me if i also need to go thru some test befr we again try? Pls suggest

Hu dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Increased TSH levels are indicative of hypothyroidism and it can be one of the cause for infertility.
She should get her prolactin levels checked, as prolactin hormone levels are also Increased with hypothyroidism, thus leading to infertility.
Further management should be done accordingly.
