Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have just been prescribed Rigevidon. I have been reading everyone s reviews on several websites and a LOT of them have said about experiencing weight gain and acne. I regularly exercise and eat pretty healthily.. so is there any way I could avoid gaining weight due to taking this? Do you think Yasmin would be a better option if weight gain is a particular issue I m concerned about experiencing? Chloe
Yasmin is almost equal to Rigevidon. Effec of weight also varies from person to person. For some patients yasmin causes more weight gain & vice versa. To stop weight from gaining you need to take care of two things apart from medicine: First, your daily calories intake should be less than the maximum calories recommended at a particular weight/height. Second, eat diet with less calories. e.g avoid chocolates, oily & fast food.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
