Hello, my name is Angelia Wilds and I am 5'9 and i weigh 129. Everyone says i look sickly. I can not gain weight. I had my Gall Bladder removed and ever since then as soon as a eat, I have to go to the bathroom about 5 min later. People even think I'm a drug addict because my face is so thin. I know I have endometriosis as well. I'm in nursing school and don't want to look like this when I start work. Should I go to doctor and get meds, or is there something over the counter That really works. P.S. I also have a lot of stress i lost 30 pounds in the last 9 months. Thank you very much Angelia Wilds
Weight gain can be achieved by increasing calorie intake from food and drink and decreasing calorie loss from activity.
If you have very frequent bowel movements then this may be an issue with your weight if there is associated poor absorption of nutrients. You may want to consider an assessment by your doctor prior to increasing your calorie intake.
Increasing calorie intake means using larger portions of food, increasing meal frequency and adding condiments to increase calorie value of food.
I hope this helps
