Suggest Methods To Improve Platelet Count During Pregnancy

Hi doctor,My name in Maria. I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have low platelet count. The last blood test done it was 98000. My white blood cell is reading normal, my red blood cell is also normal and the haemoglobin count is perfect. What can I do to increase my platelet count.This is my second pregnancy and I did not have any complication with my first pregnancy.

In pregnancy ,normally also there is fall in haemoglobin as well as in platelets because of haemodilution i.e because of excess storage of water in body during pregnancy. Platelets around 1 lakh are normal in pregnancy, U DONT HAVE TO WORRY. UR COUNT IS NORMAL.
