Hi Doctor, yesterday i had a scan , ET is 1.1mm & follicle size is 1mm after taking 150 iu HP Ovitrop for 5 days....i m wondering why the follicle size is not increased after taking 5 days injection, Yestrday was day 10 & My doctor had planned for IUI for this month........ what shld i do to have ET more than 8 ????? & to incrase follicle size
You seem to have not only low follicular size, your endometrial thickness is also very low. For building up your endometrial thickness, you have been put on Ovitrop. Endometrium of thickness between 9 mm and 14 mm is best for implantation of fertilized ovum.
Follicular size of 1 mm suggests that is too small. Are you sure about its size? Please get your AMH values done. Depending upon the values on AMH, your further management has to be planned. Too high AMH may interfere the development of follicles.
I do not feel this cycle is ideal period for your IUI. With endometrium of 1.1 mm thickness and follicle of 1 mm size, this IUI is bound to fail. I would advise you first to get the endometrium well built by Ovitrop, study AMH and accordingly with suitable treatment depending upon the values of AMH, before you go for any Artificial Reproductory technique like IUI.
Madam, I feel, these values are suggesting a possibility of ovarian failure. Please consult your Gynaecologist about this.
I hope this gives you message.
