Suggest More Cleaner And Efficient Ways To Administer Food Through Gastrostomy Tube
I have a patient with a gastrostomy tube for feeding. THe CoQ10 that has been given to me to administer
has to be punctured to put the med into a syringe for g-tube administration. I don't think very much of the
medication is actually getting in to the patient as much of the orange oil-like substance remains on the tip
of the plunger as well as on the sides of the feeding tube itself. Is there a more efficient way of administration?
