My husband and I are 60 years old and are looking for a moisturizer or lotion to help us with our dry skin. We re not interested in moisturizers that advertise that they will eliminate wrinkles. We want something that will moisturize our skin naturally. It seems we are both experiencing dry skin specifically on our faces. Can you suggest a solution? Thx, Jan W.
Use the following measures to counter dry skin. 1. Avoid using soaps. 2. Use a face wash to wash your face instead of soap. 3. Apply good amount of moisturizer immediately after bath. 4. Coconut oil is a good substitute to moisturisers.
In addition to above take plenty of fluids and take fruits rich in Vitamin A and E. Avoid contact with detergents. You can use hand gloves when washing or doing other household work. Wear full clothes to avoid loss of moisture from skin.
Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
