Suggest Natural Ways To Cure UTI During Pregnancy

Good Evening, I am pregnant and I have a urinary tract infection. I have a history of uti s and despite oral antibiotics, many are often ineffective for me to the point where it becomes so severe that the ER gave me IM antibiotic as a last resort. I am drinking a lot of water and trying to somehow battle this uti with home remedies. My doctor already prescribed me antibiotics which I will start tonight. Can I possibly wash my genital region with baking soda and water? Also, other than cranberries can you suggest any other natural remedy to battle this uti? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
Recurrent UTI during pregnancy,is a difficult situation.
An urine culture is a must. Culture specific antibiotics only, must be taken.
If urine culture shows resistance to oral antibiotics,then injectables is given.
Never wash the genital region with baking soda. It can have skin reactions.
There're no natural remedies for UTI. Drink 10 to 12 glasses daily.
