Suggest Opinion On Taking Lunesta
I was very busy tonight and thought I had taken my Lunesta. I write my meds down when I take them at night. I always take my Lunesta and wait about thirty or forty minutes before I go to bed, otherwise, i tend to watch the clock and it is not as effective. At 11:22 pm. I headed to bed and realized I had not written any meds down for tonight. I went on to bed and have not been able to go to sleep yet. I m fairly certain that I did not take my Lunesta because I didn t write it down and I can t go to sleep. It is now 1:43. If I had taken my Lunesta I feel certain I would be asleep by now. Can I safely say that I did not take it and take it now? I take 3mg pills. Thank you.

I can understand your concern. Lunesta is Eszopiclone and the drug is a hypnotic drug of Z-drugs class. The drug is commonly used for short term management of insomnia. If you haven't taken the drug (as you haven't written it) then there is no risk in taking it. Even if you took the drug but didn't write it, even in such case you can take half to one tablet because that would not make any serious dose. In future try to note down your use regularly.
