Suggest Over The Counter Drug To Replace Allopurinol For Gastrointestinal Problems

MY WIFE HAS STOMACH PROBLEMS, THEY HAVE GIVEN HER ALLOPURINOL, BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY WANTED TO DOUBLE THE DRUG, AND THEY GAVE ME A PERSCRIPTION FOR PREVACID 15 MG. MY INSURANCE WON'T COVER IT AND THEY WANT 90.00 FOR IT AT WAL-MART. IS THERE AN OVER THE COUNTER DRUG THAT WILL DO THE JOB.

why she is taking allopurinol ? she can take feburic (febuxstat )instead if she has increase uric acid level
