Suggest Over The Counter Medicines For Asthma

My son who is 3 1/2 was diagnoised with asthma at 9 months old. he's been on signular chewables, and an occassional neubulizer (when needed). we've moved and my insurance will not kick in for another 30-60 days...he ran out of singular about a week ago, and now he's coughing, wheezing, and haveing trouble breathing i wanted to know if there was something over the counter that i can give him to help him untill i can get my insurance and i can get his medication filled?

If he is wheezing, he needs to be seen as soon as possible because he is having an acute asthmatic attack.
It would be best to take him to the ER or his doctor as soon as possible for treatment.

He may need to increase his steroid inhaler to help with control.
