Suggest Permanent Cure For Dematosis Paulosa Nigra
Hi. I am an Indian National. Female 26yrs old. I am currently suffering from Dermatosis Paulosa Nigra. Its getting annoying. Day by day the spots are increasing. My papules are almost flat, dark brown in color, around my eyes ,cheeks and chin. I am a young girl and beauty matters to me a lot. Is there any definite treatment to remove them forever. I asked my doctor here. But she says it can t be treated without scar marks.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
No doubt, Dermatosis papulosa Nigra (DPN) is just a cosmetic concern, however, for a young girl it surely can be a cause of significant anxiety.
The good news is that it is easily amenable to treatment with either a radiofrequency cautery Or a CO 2 Laser Vaporization. There is no scaring whatsoever because DPN lesions are epidermal (superficial).
After the procedure you would have superficial scabs that would last just for a week and you need to apply a topical antibacterial till they fall off. Once the scabs fall off, it would reveal an absolutely normal skin. I reiterate, there is no scaring at all.
I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region regarding the most appropriate method of removal.
