Hello Dr. Keerthi My wife is having continous headech from last 10 days we consulted to multiple doctors and finally went to one of the neurologist he asked us to go for MRI of brain and some blood report. Finally he dignosed it as Migraine, he has asked her to take 1) Betacap TR40 2) Naprosyn 3) Eliwel 10 ( this from today only) but problem is still she has a pain when she had a tablet it reduces but does not go off. And she has pain specially when she is on phone and talking to some one means opening her jaw what is your suggestion for this
migrain is a type of headache with unknown etiology. migrain can be prevented by knowing the precipitating factors like in your wife s case its talking on phone. it can also be treated . there are plenty of medication options available for same . if your wife has partial relief with betacap Tr and eliwel ,you can talk to her doctor. he will increase the dose till the point she gets complete relief or he will change the medicine. i am sure her migrain will be controlled effectively. but unfortunately there is no permanent cure, she might have to take medicines for long time
