Suggest Possible Tests To Confirm Pregnancy

I have a cycle every 28 days. I had my last cycle on October 14th 2010, and my next period was suppose to be due Nov 10, 2010 or 11th. I took a test on November 21 and the test was negative. On Friday, Dec 10th I went and got blood work done, and had to wait until Tuesday Dec 14 to get my results. So I was eager and took a home pregnanct test on Saturday Dec 11th and the home pregnancy test was Positve. so I went and got a nother digital it was still positive. So I called my Dr on tuesday, Dec 14 to get my results and I was told I had a weak positve and too come back back because I couldve been too early. So I took another test on Sat, Dec 18th and it was still positive. I have been getting cramps but no bleeding, could I be early in my pregnancy or later. How many weeks could I be? Please Help not sure how many weeks I can be..

Hi
Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your query, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.

1.First of all do not panic.

2.As your earlier pregnancy test was negative and it turned positive on 11th December, you must be having delayed conception.

3. As per LMP of 14 October, you should be 9 weeks and 3 days pregnancy. But it can be around 6 to 7 weeks considering the pregnancy test history.

4. In my opinion, USG pelvis or trans vaginal, will help assess exact gestational age and viability of pregnancy.

I hope this answer was helpful to you!
Thank you and best regards!
