Suggest Precautions For A Pregnant Woman With Twins

I had twins 34 years ago. Now one of my twin daughters is 8 weeks pregnant with twins. She is a type I diabetic on the pump. She had a healthy boy 2 1/2 years ago. But I know having twins is a whole new ball game. I m just trying to get myself up to date on things I need to know to support her. She s coming to stay with us for a month while her husband has to be away on military school for his job. Any new information you can offer.

Hello, twin pregnancy can derange the sugar levels to a great extent so you need to be cautious that way and ask her to have regular ultrasound at 4 weekly intervals to monitor baby growth.
