Suggest Precautions To Avoid Typhoid Recurrence

Hi Doctor -The whole family met with an accident 2 years back and I was forced to drink bottled water and got Typhoid and Juandice. I always used to drink boiled water and still drink boiled water. 3 weeks back I had an acute URTI and developed fever and widal test came out positive last week. I was admitted to hospital and just discharged after the 10 injections of monocef 2 gm. I would like to know how to prevent another attack of typhoid in future as I am already infected twice.
