Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Patient,
Welcome, and thanks for sharing your concern
I went through your query, and want to know for what reason was this surgery done. I feel if surgical cut is made and fixed with intramedullary nail than weight bearing at least partial can be done early if fracture is stable. if there is any instability than weight bearing is differed till union signs are seen which means about 2 to 3 months
I hope my advice would have been useful, in decision making regarding your treatment, still if you have any clarifications or doubts feel free to contact back.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
