Suggest Remedies For A Foul Smelling Huge Sore Between Thigh And Scrotum
I got a vey hard pea size sore right between scrotum and thigh, after 6/7 days it grew 4 times and became tender. I did a hot compression of saline water and in the morning it had opened up with very foul smelling pus. I compressed it again with saline water but in the morning it had grown with purple veins showin and an open deep centre. 7 days later swelling has gone down, identified hair in the centre wondering if it was ingrown hair. Also noticed area in my thigh is turning black, rough and sensitive, I think from all the pus, What can I do to heal quicker coz I smell real bad now.
It looks like your ingrown hair is badly infected. Pus-filled folliculitis is causing bad odour. Visit ER, get examined physically. If folliculitis is deep-rooted it usually forms boils or carbuncles.
You may need drainage of the affected area & injectable antibiotics to help wound heal better & faster.
You need antibiotics or antivirals. Get STD tests done to rule out any sexually transmitted infection. You can wash, dry & apply Neosporin ointment & take Acetaminophen(Tylenol) for pain.
