Suggest Remedies For A Pus Filled Lump On My Inner Thigh
I have a lump on my inner thigh the size of a nipple. When I squeeze it, there is something inside like blood or pus. It is a bit annoying when I wear pants, the friction it creates. I have had similar and in the same location but never this size. I think its causef from chafing as I am 40 lbs overweight. Can u tell me what to do to make it go down until my dr appt in a week? I don't want to go to an ER...

1.The history and location suggest the possible cause could be hair follicular infection with collection.
2.Next possible cause could be subcutaneous infective abscess / collection.
3.In the both cases in small and not compacted state a course of antibiotics will help in treatment.
4.In case of complicated state a small incision and drainage will be needed - but the size you have mentioned does not suggest that - however need to examine.
