Suggest Remedies For Abdominal Cramps

Hi, woke up this morning with a scream, thought I had cramp, have since been told its more likely a pulled muscle as it still hurts 2 hours late and pain killers do nothing, I have been sent home by my boss and told to see the doctor incase I do further damage to muscle and/or ligaments. It is right that I should have a doctor check this?

Hello,

You have a problem of abdominal cramp that may be because of indigestion problem or other reasons. Giardiasis also causes this type of symptoms. Mention particular site of pain and intensity and duration of pain with aggravating factor.

Ulcerative colitis may be ruled out if problem is long-standing then consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Physical examination and history give exact idea about problems. Drink more water per day and avoid spicy and fatty foods in your diet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rachana Goswami
