Suggest Remedies For Acne And Oily Skin

i am 17 years old.. i have oily, acne prone skin specially in the t-zone... i an quite hygienic amd use fair and lovely cream/ facewash and have now begun using night treatment... someone told me to use betnovate-n cream but should i use that? .. and also i think that i am having harmonal imbalances... my chin whose pics are sent is quite emberrasing for me plz suggest me something i cannot visit any doctor due to studies and busy schedule.... also my pimples sometimes contain pus in them some pimples are also present on forehead ie between brows and my nose..... also these leave acne scars/spots ... plz help!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face and oily skin which is due to stress, hormonal changes and certain medications and oily skin is an contributing factor for your condition. Betnovate N is definitely a very good medication but you should not use it for so long . I would suggest you to clean skin with a lukewarm water twice a day and apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over it twice a day. Do not apply any other cream or oil over it. Exfoliate your skin once in a week to remove the dead skin. Apply Adapelene gel once at night. Pantosal ointment is very effective antimicrobial agent. Apply vitamin E oil at night .If condition doesn't improve in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( clindamycin) .
