Suggest Remedies For Anemia With Lethargy In Spite Of Taking Medication

My 15 year old daughter has been diagnosed anaemic & prescribed iron tablets. She has been taking them for 10 days but seems no better, if anything she seems even more tired. How long before we see an improvement? Or should I take her back to the doctor?
