Suggest Remedies For Chronic Cough Leading To Headache

I have a severe cough past about 40 days. used to get up at about 2 an and cough continues, not productive. Ends up with headache, severe discomfort. WBCDC indicates normal. Please let me know. age 60. fitness good. I take daily 100 mcg thyroid tablets and a month ago increased to 150 mcg. BP normal, cholesterol 274. Thank you

Thanks for your question on HCM. Night time cough with discomfort needs cardiac and respiratory evaluation.
Acute left ventricular failure cause similar night time coughing. This is known as orthopneoa. I advice you to consult cardiologist first and get done ECG snd 2D Echo.
If this is normal than bronchitis may be the cause. So consult pulmonologist and get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
