Suggest Remedies For Chronic Stomach Pain And Constipation

Hi, my three year old daughter has been complaining about stomach and leg pain off and on for a month now. Last night she cried in my arms for an hour over both pains at the same time. Same leg, just under right knee. Do I need to blood work and bone scans done now that this problem seems to not be going away. She also has been cronically constipated sing I brought her home from the hospital-I'm scared.

Hi,

Your child is only 3 years old hence needs proper clinical evaluation by an Orthopedic Surgeon for the pain behind the right knee so that proper investigations as needed will be advised to give a proper guideline for treatment. This is unusual to have pain behind knee in this age group.
As for the pain in abdomen, the commonest causes are abdominal tonsils that is lymph node enlargement, worm infestation and so on.
The best way is to consult a Pediatrician or a Pediatric Surgeon for clinical examination, have investigations of stool, blood and ultrasonography. A proper diagnosis gives a chance for proper management.
