Suggest Remedies For Constant Cough And Painful Lump In Armpit.

my daughter has had a bad cough, took her to Dr after about a week of it and they gave her strep test (negative) and gave her antibiotic for sinus infection. Well its been another 3 weeks and cough hasn t gone away she also has a lump in her armpit that she says is painful

Your daughter is having chronic cough (not responding to the routine antibiotics). She is also having enlarged axillary lymphnodes.
All these suggest lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) more.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and Chest x ray.
Chest x ray is needed for the diagnosis of LRTI.
If infection is there then she needs higher antibiotics, anti inflammatory and antihistamine drugs. Don't wait at home, consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Don't worry, she will be alright.
