Suggest Remedies For Depression

depression problem
my mother 60 years is facing severe depression problem. doctor has advised her to take C Fludac. its only 2 days since she has started taking medicine but there is no relief.
please advise me what is to be done to resolve the problem

Hi,

I can understand the concern regarding your mother's condition. Depression is a condition which manifest as sadness of mood, anxiety, sleep and appetite problems, etc.

Treatment of depression includes medications (anti-depressants). Fluoxteine (Fludac) is an effective antidepressant. But, the response to anti-depressants usually takes 10-15 days. Accordingly dose can be increased depending on the response. So, you will have to be patient and wait.
