Suggest Remedies For Ear Ache And Cold Sensation In Tooth After Putting A Crown
I had a temporary crown put on 5 days ago. I started having around the #31 molar with crown. Had pain in my jaw and an ear ache. I went back to the dentist today and he took a good look at it and adjusted the crown a little and did a couple of tests. He did not think the tooth needed a root canal and thought it would get better. He gave me some antibiotics. I do not have sensitivity to cold and hot. When I chew on it their is some sensitivity but not terrible. He thought tooth was ok. I am hoping the antibiotics help but I am getting tired of the pain. What are your thoughts?
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the sensitivity could be because of exposure of the some part of the toot structure to the oral cavity or too much of tooth preparation. you can try with desensitizing tooth paste. if the sensitivity is severe or pain comes then it has to go for RCT. antibiotics will not reduce sensitivity.i hope my answer will help you. take care

Thanks for using Health Care Magic. Read your query , where you have not mentioned what test the doctor had done. I would advise you to go and X-Ray done to evaluate the condition of the tooth and if needed get the root canal treatment done. Continung with the antibiotic you can take a pain killer (ibuprofen) if you are not allergic to any medicine. I recommend u to get the x-Ray done. Hope this is useful. Thanks and regards
