Suggest Remedies For Hair Fall While Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis
I had hair fall 6 years ago,got some scalpe on side,dr prescribed minoxidil, some tablets & propysyllic nf lotion. My hair fall stopped within a year,so i stopped minoxidil & tablets but continued using propysylic lotion as hair gel because my hair looks thicker. From previous year i stopped propysyllic nf lotion & my hair start falling from top area & i am balding there. Is this due to long term(5years) continue use of propysylic lotion and sudden stop.I have rhumetoid arthritis too and sometime i take steriod oraly(genrally one time in a week)
Hi. As per your case history of hair fall, my treatment advice is - 1. NSAID taken for rheumatoid arthritis can cause hair fall. 2. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk. 3. Take an iron supplement and vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months. 4. Other treatment options are oral follihair, mesotherapy done by a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
