Suggest Remedies For High Serum And Ldl Cholesterol Levels

My age is 28.Right now I have checked my lipid profile which indicates my serum and ldl cholesterol are on higher side I.e231 &164mg/DL.BP is 140/90.weight is around 85 kg.Height is 5feet 10 inch.I have also done thyroid test which indicates the observed values are coming within Euthyroid ranges.Right now I am taking asomex 2.5 for bp and eltroxin 50 for thyroid.Right now I am feeling body pain.I did DC check up which indicates lymphosites are 48% and eosinophils is 3% others are coming normal. I take only homemade foods also doing exersize .Advice me as to how should I come out of these diseases. Any specific advice for medicine and diet is highly appreciated.

Thank you for your question! I understand your concern; regarding your blood lipid profile I recommend you a change of diet to Mediterranean diet style (which incorporates the basics of healthy eating; use of flavorful olive oil and perhaps even a glass of red wine; it comprises fruits, vegetables, fish and whole grains, and limit unhealthy fats); after about 3 months you have to check again your blood lipid profile on a fasting state, and if it is within normal ranges you should only continue your new diet, otherwise in an abnormally high lipids level an antilipidemic drug (such as statins) should be added. Keep walking at least 20 minutes per day.
Regarding body pain feelings I recommend you to consult first an endocrinologist to rule out any adverse effect of eltroxin (body pain, slight changes in blood test) and even the primary thyroid disorder effects (such as post thyroiditis state)
