can there be thiroid problem in body, even the test are showing normal reports. How can one know about it
I am 37 years old, male. 3-4 yrs back I was told by the doctor, on the basis of hospital reports, that I have thyroid and I started taking thyroxin 1mg per day but I can't able to continue it beyond 3-4 months but I am regularly taking thyroid test and the reports are showing normal reports. But physically I am fealing very week and lythargic and some irritation in throat. PLS ADVICE
Hello If you are having a normal thyroid function test , you will not benefit from taking thyroid medications. Other conditions which can lead to lethargy should also be considered- if your sodium is low, consider looking for your cortisol level, to rule out adrenal insufficiency if you have some problem in sex and erection, shall consider doing a testosterone in the 8 am to rule out hypogonadism You should ensure that you are having sound sleep in an uninterrupted fashion. If you have stress factors or you think your mood is low, and you are inactive usually, it can lead to fatigue and lethargy.
