Suggest Remedies For Migraine And Anxiety

my physician of several decades has spontaneously retired .... I am looking for a new doctor (preferably one close to home) I suffer from severe migraines and anxiety. My now retired physician seemed, after several years, to manage the frequency and severity of my migraines. I was just told his methods were unorthodox -- my prescriptions of tylenol 3, lorazepam and relpax have run out -- im stressing (that s my trigger) that a debilatating migraine will await me in the morning -- suggestions?

Hi thanks for asking question.

We can help you in managing your condition.

Noted as per history you have migraine with anxiety.

Whenever you have severe headache by migraine take tablet containing sumatriptan plus naproxen combination to relieve headache. If needed sumatriptan injection also can be taken during attack if required. If headache relived by ibuprofen like drug then no need for using sumatriptan.

Meanwhile avoid triggering factors for headache like............
-Hypoglycemia
-Sleep irregularity
-Skipped meal
-Smoking
-Loud noise
-Bright light
-Stress

During migraine attack try to be relax and rest in quit dark room.

Coffe can be good to take in morning .

Peppermint oil or lavender oil inhalation can be useful for headache.

Now for anxiety try to be relaxed and avoid situation that can lead stress.

Regularly try yoga and meditation.

Try to engage your self in some activity like sport or music.

Regular exercise done.

Spend some time during day with friends and relatives.

If still anxiety remain then you can start for alprazolam like drug but just know no need of it.

Wish you good health.

Take care
