Hello Welcome to HCM. Firstly a word of caution against using any over the counter creams on the advice of chemists/friends. Panderm is a very strong medicated steroid cream not to be used cosmetically. Do note that the lightening effect is a side effect of the steroids on your skin and prolonged use will destroy the delicate skin. It is not a treatment for pigmentation. You have mentioned it is a birthmark. Was it present since birth or early childhood? Or is it due to some injury? If it is a very old Mark you can go in for advanced laser therapy. Or consult a plastic surgeon regarding its removal. Old moles and birthmarks cannot be removed with creams. The pimples are also side effects of steroids. Other side effects are stretch marks, thin skin, telangiectasia and blood spots, infection and loss of skin color. So don't apply any medicines without proper advice . For the hyperpigmented scars now, you may use kojic acid gel at night on the marks. Also you may try chemical peels once it heals. It will take time to resolve.
