Suggest Remedies For Rectal Bleeding

Hello, The local clinic here does not have any appointments till sometime next week so that s why i m sending you an email. It s been two weeks today that I got a hemorrhoid and bleeding for a 1 1/2 weeks. The blood was bright red but now it s getting darker. I read that dark blood coming out of your bottom is never a good thing. Should I be worried? Thanks, Dora

Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

If you has a diagnosised hemorrhoids there is no need to worry, because sometimes the blood in rectal are may change its color to darker because of oxidation and there is no need to worry about it.

If you have any other concern like, it may be rectal cancer etc, which doesn't seem to be the case. You must get an colonoscopy done and clinical rectal examination also done by a doctor as soon as possible.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any questions further.

Regards
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray.
