Suggest Remedies For Redness And Itchy Patch Of Red Pimples On Buttocks

I have a raised, tender ,red, itchy patch of small pimples (approx. 2 long and half inch wide) on the upper middle of my right butt cheek. I used candiderm cream on it, once per day for the past 2 days. The itching stopped, it is not as tender but still red. Please advise, should I continue to use?and for how long? how often?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be folliculitis most probably. Kindly consult the dermatologist to have perfect diagnosis.

I would suggest...

- short course of antibiotics
- antihistaminics to relieve itching
- antibiotic cream
- bath in dettol liquid mixed water
- avoid pricking the lesions

I hope this would help you.

Thanks.
